This Gems Chess tournaments Feb-14th-2026 is a CYCC qualifier. Any kid and every kid who knows how to play a basic chess game is welcome to participate. There will be 5 rounds. Players achieving a score of 2.5 or more in the tournament will qualify to participate in the Canadian Youth Chess Championship 2026 organized by Canadian Chess Federation of Canada. The top players from CYCC will further represent Canada to the 2026 World Youth Chess Championships.
